The order of transition between stages is strictly regulated (swimming -> cycling -> running). Athletes must not impede other competitors (during bike preparation or changing clothes). They are allowed to manually move their bicycles only within their designated area before and after the race. Helmets must be worn before the race begins and removed only after the bicycle is placed on the special rack or designated area. Nudity during changing is prohibited by competition rules according to global standards. During the cycling stage, the race number must be on the athlete's back, and during the running stage, it must be on the chest. The athlete must complete each stage within the designated time limit.

A participant's age is determined as of December 31 of the current year, regardless of the actual date of the competition.
